The journey begins ~ Social Networking, mySpace, Facebook, Blogging; Flicker ccounts, Web 2.0 & more ~ it will be curious to see what kind of 'shelf life' all these new social tools have in relation to libraries and their hope to attract users to our services. Call me old-fashion, but nothing can beat The Bomb Librarian helping that stressed out student overcome his fear of research & the library. There's nothing like that successful one on one interaction when the student you are helping really understands and becomes empowered with new skills and solutions. Learn new skills, but keep the old, the new ones are silver, but the old ones are gold. . .
